The guitar is almost all original, and even has the hang tag. The amplifier is in perfect order. They've been together since they were new, so it's a package deal.
Details
- They were bought together back in 1961 at a store in Cape Cod.
- In 1969 they were traded back, and snatched up by an employee, who gave it years later to a friend.
- The three position switch was replaced by a 5-way switch at some point.
- The guitar has been re-fretted and set up by luthier Jim Millinchuck.
- At that time the original plastic pickguard was misplaced
- The metal plate under pickguard is original.
- The amplifier is in perfect order:
- Tubes and capacitors replaced
- 3 prong power added
- All the old / removed parts are included.
